Challenge
AI Expense Dashboard had to ingest receipts and transactions, auto-categorize spend, and surface compliance flags without slowing month-end reporting.
The core challenge was making automated categorization trustworthy while giving finance teams a quick way to review exceptions. We balanced detail and clarity across charts, approval flows, and audit trails so reporting stayed accurate and fast.
Solution
The solution centered on a receipt pipeline with review screens, rule-based overrides, and a reporting layer that keeps month-end close predictable and easy to audit.
We separated ingest, review, and reporting states, added adjustment notes for every change, and surfaced compliance flags inline. Charts use aggregated summaries for speed, while detailed tables lazy-load to keep the interface responsive.
